About the IBF

Iowans for a Better Future began as a non-profit bi-partisan organization originally formed to promote implementation of the Iowa 2010 Strategic Planning Commission - a comprehensive plan to achieve strong and viable growth in Iowa.

The important role of Iowans for a Better Future has since grown to encompass serving as Iowa’s:

Champion for long-term vision and growth.

Convener of disparate parties assuring that critical growth issues are being addressed.

Honest Broker of effective dialogue on key growth issues.

The Iowans for a Better Future Board keeps its vision on the long-term growth of Iowa and does the critical work and research needed to keep community and state leaders informed of the road ahead.

We see an ever better Iowa. An exciting and dynamic state—the best place in the nation to live, work, raise a family, and explore the future.
